Up to 2 million people have been forced to flee Iraq to seek safety in neighbouring countries. The numbers are increasing every day.
Over 700,000 Iraqis have already sought refuge in Jordan alone. With no registration process in place, they are denied official refugee status and are struggling to survive in desperate conditions.
An escalating humanitarian crisis is now facing people across the region.
WER needs your support today to send supplies of essential humanitarian aid to Iraqi refugees in Jordan, Syria and surrounding countries.
£20 will provide emergency food supplies for 10 refugee families.
£50 will provide essential medical supplies for 100 people.
To date, WER has delivered 80 tons of blankets, clothes and life-saving food and medical supplies to Iraqi refugee communities in desperate need. We are working together with local organisations in the region to ensure that aid is delivered directly to families in need of assistance.
